Grass Silage Decisions Program

The day you decide to cut silage and the weather on that day has an important influence on the crop made. But many of the management decisions made over the preceding months will have set out potential yield, quality and cost of silage and will have a far greater impact.

This program is designed to let you test your silage making skills on a virtual, conventional grass crop, on medium to heavy soil and with average rainfall. It features some but by no means all of the decisions you really make when making silage, whether actively or passively. And perhaps it will make you think again...
